Oh yes, we have reached the phase where Kaelyn thinks she is being really helpful... and who am I to discourage her? The only issue is that her version and my version of help are slightly dissimilar. But, when she wants to reorganize the DVD's, I let her. And when she wants to "sweep" the floor, I let her. And when she needs to sort through the spice rack, which really shouldn't be at her level ever since the "nutmeg" incident, I let her. And when she needs to sit in a drawer and remove its entire contents, I let her do that too. It works great to keep her entertained while I am cooking, but there is a lot of time around this household dedicated to picking things up just to watch them get pulled right back out.
